There are many types of anxiety disorders like: specific phobia, panic disorders, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), acute stress disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). These are just some of the many anxiety disorders. Anxiety disorders all have unrealistic, irrational fears or anxieties of disabling intensity as their principal and most obvious manifestation.
Anxiety is an emotion characterized by feelings of tension. These tensions can be due to worried thoughts and physical changes like increased blood pressure. An example of anxiety disorder is when someone with anxiety encounters a traumatic episode in life where it caused fear and other symptoms.
